Thanks for the replies, guys. As of right now, it would be best if the Special did not have a maple top for the project I'm considering. As far as pickups or bridge types, that's not such a big deal.

GusS, you've got a pm back at ya.

Marcnorth, that one looks a little nicer than what I would have in mind. But I will definitely consider it if nothing else comes up.
