BLuesBuster Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 Did you notice that victorlitz has the "beach" house for sale too? (from the pics it looks more like the "woods" house ) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...Pr4_PcN__Stores
DavidE Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 I remember when they were first building Ocean Pines. I used to go with my best friend and his family to Ocean City when we were kids in the 70's, before it was built up. His dad was one of the first to build in Ocean Pines. I wonder what it's all like now.
cmatthes Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 O.C. (the East Coast version = "Ocean City, MD") is way built up now. I haven't spent any quality time there in the last 10 years, although have had to go through it a few times. I far prefer Bethany (a few miles north across the DE line), then Dewey/Rehoboth Beach. The DE beaches are way cooler.I can be easily persuaded to go to Avalon, Stone Harbor and Sea Isle (NJ), but have a tough time getting used to paying for the beach nor not being able to drink there!
Guest cruster Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 Paying to get on the beach is par for the course here in Michigan (as the state owns most of the beaches...go figure). But, last I knew, you could have alcohol, just not in glass containers, which makes sense. NJ doesn't let you even have beer in a can? Wow.
edgar_allan_poe Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 nor not being able to drink there! Sorry Chris, but the use of a double negative is strictly forbidden on this forum/board. As punishment, you must go to the thread where Jack loses his mind and correct all of his spelling, and grammar errors. I will expect your paper on my desk by Friday.
Craig Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 Poe, your a funny bastard! I remember going to play a Dek Hockey tournament in Sea Isle city only to find out 9 of our players from Philly couldn't show and didn't call. We ended up playing with a team of about 8 guys, and got our asses whooped so we just drank all weekend and played extremely hungover. It was fun picking up tons of chicks at the bars though! I remember I slept in the bathtub with the water running the first night, and woke up to a flood which pissed off management, but my brother, ever the attorney/great talker, got us out of that one!

HamerHokie Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 "WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS ONE WAS USED FOR A MAGAZINE AD."Wow, that's a great catch-all, totally unverifiable marketing technique."I've been told Joe Walsh owned this guitar for five years.""I've been told Prince sold this to pay for a groupie's plane fair home.""I was told Duane Allman used this to record an unreleased version of Whipping Post."
