Guest JackButler Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 This is for all the Dad's! All the guys out there, biological or not, the guys that keep home happy, hang and bang and keep their head down and keep pushing forward. To the guys that are Mom and Dad even more love out to you! This is really the first year we're celebrating Father's Day around here.. thank my new bride for that ! Before I always kind of viewed it like this.. your boss don't throw a parade and give ya' a card for showing up to work on time.. you know.. its like getting an award or something for what your supposed to be doing in the first place.. but this weekend has been really good.. a little surreal but awesome.. I now see how much it means to my kids and now to my wife (thats still really weird to say) for them to express their feelings. Some incredibly HUGE LOVE out to all you Fathers! God bless, Kev
93specialfm Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Happy Father's Day to all!! My two sons, ages 9 and 11, suggested that a good way for the 3 of us to celebrate Father's Day would be to go to a restaurant for dinner!! What, no Hot Pockets from the microwave?!
Feynman Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Happy Father's Day to all of you, too! My girls and wife are currently in Japan doing some summer school and visiting the in-laws. I haven't seen them in two weeks, with three weeks to go. They're missed. -mitch
MCChris Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Take it from a guy who would like to have kids but so far has been unable to: all you dads are truly blessed. One of my best buds is honoring me with the privilege of being his son's godfather next Saturday, so that'll be cool.
Bruiser Brody Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! No kids for me thanks. I'm good.
tomteriffic Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Hey Kevin, Nice to get the scratch behind the ears after all this time, isn't it? Congrats to a great dad, it's about time for you bro. What I don't get is this.... The rest of the year I'm as dumb as a skid of bricks. Clumsy, nosy, obstreperous and a general PITA, that's me. Just ask my son, he'll tell you. Then all of a sudden, they throw me a party for being a dumb clumsy nosy clod. Go figure. It's kind of like throwing a party for your plow mule. I'll take it though! Happy Dad's day to all of ya.
BTMN Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 Much LOVE to all you Dads. Been 37 years since I seen mine. Maybe this is the year I hunt him up.

Bass Guy Dave Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 I was clearing out some stuff on the computer and found this pic last night. Please, If I ever seem to not appreciate every single moment with my family, the rest of you please come beat some sense into me. Thanks. Happy Father's day to all (and to my Pop as well...)
