Gruhn, next week, incl. my Hofner Nightingale, a Lone Star Strat, and an Arlen Roth signature model Tele. with wicked flame job. It's ok, beause I was planning to thin the herd this summer anyway. I'll still have plenty of good Hamers and others left. Things are getting shakey because we are an automotive supplier, we produce outside rear-view mirrors for GM & DaimlerChrysler and both customers are in very bad financial shape. This increases the pressure they apply on us and other suppliers to further cut our prices, to help them. They have forced us to reduce our prices every year, for the past 10 years. By now, we are selling at just a whisker above break-even level and two of our competitors are in bankruptcy. We can hardly afford the cost to tool-up from scratch if GM wants us to take over that work, so it's a "Catch-22."

I'm feeling your pain, about the work situation. My companyis looking pretty shakey now, also. I've been there 24 years, and it's looking like a rugged end is coming, unlesssomething changes.Good Luck
