AdmiralB Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Tele is an ash American Standard, not a reissue (although it is in a reissue/vintage case).
santellavision Posted October 30, 2007 Author Posted October 30, 2007 Thanks AdmiralB. Anyway to guess the year? The serial number on the back of the neck is:24153611 There are no letters before the number.
Steve Haynie Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 FWIW the Tacoma Thunderchief is the only acoustic bass that is actually loud and bassy without being plugged in. After hearing the Guilds and those high dollar Klein designed acoustic bass guitars, the Tacoma is the only one worth considering for a real bass sound.
a42 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Thanks AdmiralB. Anyway to guess the year? The serial number on the back of the neck is:24153611 There are no letters before the number. That's an odd serial number. If that were "Z4" instead of "24" it would make it a 2004 (or early 2005) model. Here's a chart, but I don't see anything on it to match that one.
johnnieboy Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 The included picture shows the serial number starts with a "Z", not a "2", it's a 2004 model. Are the prices firm? Thanks AdmiralB. Anyway to guess the year? The serial number on the back of the neck is:24153611 There are no letters before the number.
edgar_allan_poe Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Jesus...those Lowdens are friggin jaw dropping. The dude had taste, that is for sure.
santellavision Posted October 30, 2007 Author Posted October 30, 2007 Maybe it's a Z, It looked like a 2.The 2nd Lowden is amazing. What a tone. Big, bold, and warm with nice tight bottom end. (Just like my ideal woman!) All prices are negotiable. Email me privately.ernie.santella@comcast.net
