I figured the value of a Scepter must be somewhere between $1,200 and $1,500.That was the range (and even higher) for the last few original Scepters I've seen. Of course, who knows what the current market is-it's next to impossible to keep tabs on things anymore. The Scepter was Hamer's top of the line guitar (replacing the Standard) in 1985 and should NOT be confused with a run of the mill Blitz. While they aren't as rare as an FB, they're usually incredible players and I think redefine what a fast neck is all about. I've had two Scepters and two Scepter Vees over the years and for Floyd guitars, they absolutely rule.
