Any vintage Hamilton watch collectors out there?

I have a 40's blackface vintage mens Hamilton dress watch in mint condition for sale or trade. Gold case and gold Gothic/old English numerals. I'm assuming gold plate because its not stamped "14k" etc. Brand new black lizard band. Separate second hand with old English numerals. Very cool and super rare... Would be a great addition to any Hamilton watch collection or a great Christmas gift. I paid $400 for it about 5 years ago plus $65 to have it cleaned and calibrated. All original including crystal. Slightly smaller face diameter than todays watches (round 31mm). Looks like a brand new watch!

Would be willing to trade for a excellent condition set of high end Strat pickups ... preferably Fralin hots or Bare Knuckles apaches.

how do those compare to the other boo tik ee brands? I know I like the fralins and Bare knuckles ... (given your expertise I'm sure they're fantastic)

Here's Jason Lollar's description:

Pre CBS 60's strat tone. Scatter wound wax potted coils with graded Alnico 5 magnets. Flat pole design provides a cleaner more defined tone with improved string balance on most strats. Available in calibrated sets with RWRP middle pickup for hum cancelling operation in positions 2 and 4. Wax Potted. Vintage style cloth covered lead wire.

I haven't heard the Bare Knuckles pickups, but these are in the same tonal ballpark as Fralin Blues specials. A little hotter than the '50's spec models, but not so hot that you lose the clear top and bottom.

The pickups are wired to each other and to Volume, tone and blender pots and a 5 way switch. You just need to hook up two wires to your output jack and a single ground. The tone control is a master - works on all three pickups. The blender allows you to get the "unobtainable" neck + bridge and all three pickup combinations, as well as blending the neck or bridge pickups with others. I have a few pickguards and lots of covers and switch tips. What color are you looking for?

Hey, you watch guys would probably know this...I have a Sector 550 stainless steel chrono alarm watch with saphire crystal. I bought it used on Ebay.Some of the dials are getting a little "sticky" for various functions (but keeps time fine). How much does it usually cost to have a watch cleaned? Do they have to replace the water seals when opening things up or is that a way for them to pad the repair bill? Thanks for any help.
