elduave Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Well, daring may be stretching it, but y'all know how I roll. Legacy HB. Upgrades: Premier Cherryburst, Gun-Oil Gloss, Premium Quilted Maple Top, Natural Wood Binding, Saddle Lock Bridge, Lightweight Swamp Ash Body, and oh yeah, Reverse Headstock! I think that's it. Couple pics here, more in the "Gallery" (see link in signature). Thanks for looking!
silentman Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Cool. DOn't think I've ever seen a G&L with a reverse head.
Jeff R Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I've only seen and played one other G&L with a reverse head - a custom-ordered candy red Legacy at a Texas guitar show. I loved the extra bendability factor on the wound strings the RH created.
MCChris Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Yeah, that is kickass. The reverse head is a masterstroke.
cmatthes Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I am SO checking that one out this weekend. (right?? )
elduave Posted January 21, 2008 Author Posted January 21, 2008 Thanks, and a Monday bump. Reverse head is an option on G&L's price list.
DavidE Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Other than putting a lefty neck on a righty guitar, that looks awesome! ;-0
cmatthes Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Really a cool-playing guitar. I got a few minutes to check it out over the weekend, and there really is something to the reverse headstock thing as far as string tension, etc. Great neck on that one too. It's purtier in person, if you can believe that.
