Serial, you expell a bit of wind each time you come to the shop, so I guess you would know.....

Hey Greg, how similar are these to the voodoos that you had wound a few years ago?

Way better.

Will did it EXACTLY the way that I wanted, and videotaped the wind to verify it.

How does one videotape "wind"? It's just fast air.

Awesome! That is funny!

By any chance will these fit in an '80 Special neck position? You know with the shallow route and all.

Hi Chris, Greg should be able to get you the short leg pickup plates with the Greg Winds. I use short legs along with the standard long legs for assembly on sets. I think Greg is taking the weekend off, so he should be around on Monday.

Update....

We now have a our own page on WB's site.

http://www.wbpickups.com/pickups_bcrgregwinds.php

AND, they are recording accurate soundfiles to put on the site so that you can hear the pickups without silly studio trickery.

Current GregWind owners and users include Brad Whitford of Aerosmith, Ron Heathman from Supersuckers, Ronnie Younkins from Kix, Billy Duffy from the Cult, Frank Hannon from Tesla.......good company to keep and guys that have heard, used and owned everything.

Just a cheap plug for Gregger.

I love mine. I put a set of Zebras in my Mahogany Standard. The neck P/U is to die for and the bridge is big, warm and articulate. Highly recommended!

EXTRA EXTRA Read all about it!

Curious ole redhead recieves new implants, de-pimpification and emerges a whole new broad!

All nickel/chrome makeover (You're still my favorite pimp though)

BCR "Wind of Greg™" pickups in my second favorite color combination!

This freekin' neck pup makes this instrument huge! HUGE I SAY!

The bridge responds well to a desparate call to Engineering "Scottie, I need more power, more power Dammit!", "Jim, I'm an engineer, not a doctor!"

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
