Every night, carefully and slowly the case uses the twines of its casing material to create a small screwdriver which it uses to slowly loosen the screws holding the backplates. It does each screw a little and moves to the next one so the plate won't come off partway if picked up by the owner.

Finally the day arrives where each screw is almost completely loose and the fateful night occurs where the case gets the plate off. All cases learn a secret enchantment before they leave the factory which uses the backplate as a temporal space continuum shifter. Poof, the case and backplate disappear but the guitar always remains.

One day the ONE case will be made who has the power to take the guitar with it to Caion where it will be able to mate with the ONE RoadCase that is able to transport an amp to nearby Ampion and thereby start the massive celebration of freedom for guitar and roadcases who have freed themselves from the Guitrix.

It's gonna be a hellaofa party!

thanks mathman. . .for making all the extra work for me. I woke up from my sleep after my nightshift, poured myself a cup of my morning joe, started eating my bagel while reading the new posts and when i got to yours. . promptly expelled the contents onto my computer, the desk and the wall behind it. This is like a self help board i.e. it has a way of reminding one of how much more room for improvement there is for things like guitar skills, knowledge of the biz, etc . . this particular endeavor makes me think of BCR Greg and his pics. .. BCR Greg i am not.

Here's what I think - ( keep in mind , it's a nice guitar, and I'm no serious expert) , but i would think that the logo was re-done , quite possibly by hamer , somewhere at the end of the 90's, when they still did repaints ocasionally (cost a lot thou) At that time there was no big logos anymore. Job looks professional, but there is too much black going over the curve of the tip. Never seen that either. Tuners - definitely upgrade, basement job with one lazy eye, do not show the straight line ( compare to the top pic). Do not think that Hamer could be that blind on the top-notch axe. Have to agree - it screams Gimme-back-my-black-hardware to me too.

Body - have 4 transparents, 1 red , one bordo, Green and blue - all 93-95. Oops, sorry , one more - cherry sunburst 95( just the body , still looking for the neck). May be just was not that lucky to see one from 80's.

And never seen just Schaller them, either Hamer, or floyd ( didn't see that many floyds on Cali thou) , but saw Floyd speedloader. Got two guitars with the same config. with lil switch, serials deffered by 2 numbers, like the end of one was 223, the other was 225 ( pic. add to the porn)

Quite possible that the guy who sold it to you, bought it from someone in this cond. Who knows. Could be a mutt? Anybody?

But... it's all just guessing. Still a very nice guitar
