Scooter Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 Those are cool. However, the one I tried had too narrow and thin a neck. Don't know if they're all that way.
DavidE Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 Ugh. That has no appeal to me at all. Just a matter of personal taste.

Don't know if they're all that way.If you're interested, i can take a road trip up there and try it out. Might not be able to swing it until next week, though.Elderly's pretty good at giving a detailed description of guitars over the phone, too. They have decent techs on their bench that i'm sure would put the calipers on the neck for you...

Appreciate the offer, but I'm not in the market for another Floyd guitar since I got a Floyded Carvin California Singlecut.

It's a great store to visit. Very casual - low pressure - no haggle pricing (price is what it is, unless it's consignment...) They usually have a good selection of used gear. I typically leave thinking it was time well spent. There are plenty of stores around Metro Detroit that i do not leave thinking that way... :/ Overall, i'd rather drive for 2 hours to go there than 20 minutes to hit the local heap... The Robyn looks good, assuming it plays well.
atquinn Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 I took lessons at Elderly for a couple years when I was starting out. I always check in whenever I'm in East Lansing visiting my parents. Someday, when the timings right, I'll probably end up getting an acoustic from there. -Austin
Scottcrud Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 If you like fast necks those are the shit! I love my Robin Raider, just an extremely comfortable neck for me. And that's a good price.
elduave Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 no haggle pricing (price is what it is, unless it's consignment...)Interesting. For me it's the other way around.
