peedenmark7 Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 FS/FT : '06 hamer standard . this custom piece was made to my specifications as follows: one piece korina body with top bound flamed spalted maple top, korina neck, ebony fingerboard with 10 crowns,necks backshape was supposedly taken from one of jol dantzigs 70s era standards., black tone pros hardware, seymour duncan custom bridge position, seymour duncan jazz in the neck. the top is a slightly aged/tinted clear with highlighted grain. the back of the guitar is a very unique custom trans brown with a bit of red to it. I was told that this guitar was the first and potentially the only spalted top hamer ever to be produced given jol not caring much for spalted maple. the guitar comes with its original hamer case, all case candy including certificate of authenticity. its never been out of my home,the guitar is as new save for some scant pick swirling,retail was mid 5k range if memory serves me. I am wanting $3500 considering crown inlays are no longer available and the one piece korina body option is now an fetching astronomical up charge these days, if hamer even has the wood to do it. I am open to trades of GMP guitars, marshall jubilee items [2555 head] and also "the right" san dimas era charvel or jackson guitars. its sale is not by necessity ,I just never fully warmed up to this one for some reason please PM me for pictures and I will promptly forward them. thanks for looking !
