specialk Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 2005 Special K. #10 of 10. SOLD shipped and insured to the Lower 48. PM me for more photos if interested. In better than showroom condition, not so much as a ding anywhere. Comes with OHSC, COA, and all case goodies. Guitars were built to be played, and I guess I’m just not the P-90 guy I thought I was. But if you are, this is the one. It’s all African limba, and the backplate is cut from the body blank in order to match the grain. This guitar screams when unplugged, unlike any I have heard before. Plugged in, forget it. Nothing else comes close. Two Antiquity P-90s in a custom voicing, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, Ivoroid fingerboard and peghead binding, TonePros wrap-around bridge, and Kluson tuners from TonePros. The neck has the Vintage, chunkier carve. Cashiers check only, please. No trades. This won’t be going to eBay, so if no one here wants it, it stays with me. specialk Posted October 29, 2008 Author Posted October 29, 2008 After breaking this one out today, I am having serious second thoughts about the sale! I will leave it up for 24 hours for anyone thinking/waffling about it, then it comes down. Think about it guys, these don't come around that often! Thanks for looking. sk PS... And I would have to change my s/n, as Mindseyes mentioned,
sirDaniel Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 That's one of the coolest guitars Hamer's ever built
specialk Posted October 31, 2008 Author Posted October 31, 2008 God, this one hurts! Well, as of today I and several of my co-workers are added to the list of the newly unemployed. But that's not gonna hurt as much as leaving this one up for sale, AT THE REDUCED PRICE of $2,100 shipped and insured to the Lower 48. As I mentioned above, these don't come around that often, and I know if I sell this one I'll never have a chance at another, but to be honest, cash would come in mighty handy in the next week or two. So here it is for $2,100. I won't go any lower. Thanks for looking.........
