jettster Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Sometimes you need to have video evidence that practice is needed. (since I haven't been playing much in the last year or so.) Watch out for those sour notes!! I can't take credit for the backing but I know for sure that there are some better versions out there. Enjoy or not.... Video
Siaip Ciuvas Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 relly loved the tone! Are theese stock pickups?
jettster Posted November 2, 2008 Author Posted November 2, 2008 Thanks guys!! As far as I know the guitar is all original, got it as a birthday present a few years back and it was like new. Now that the weather has cooled down and we aren't at the lake every weekend maybe I can get some practice in and get back in shape. An hour or so a week just doesn't get it done for me and it shows.
zorrow Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Well man, great stuff! I love the tone and your playing. Ok, you did screw it a couple of times, but there are a lot of brilliant moments to compensate for those small flaws. Thanks for sharing!
elduave Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Rodney's good peeps and a great player. That amp sound killer!
atquinn Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Awesome! Umm, what song is that though?-Austin
jettster Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 zorrow - Thanks, there were definitely a bunch of mistakes in there as it wasn't anything rehearsed, just turned the camera on and started playing. That was kind of the whole point to show myself how far I had declined by not playing on a regular basis. The tune is also in an unfamiliar key which didn't help. (G#?? I can't remember.)Dave - Thanks bro you ain't no slouch as a player or person yourself. How about a Tesla show review since they have forgotten about us on the last several tours.atquinn - Thanks, not sure about where the backing came from. One of the guys from guitarwar did a phenomenal job over this backing and that was the first time I had heard it.
Brooks Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Rodney's good peeps and a great player. That amp sound killer!+1. nice to hear from ya.
