Feynman Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 This is not exactly new, but I figure it's worth seeing again even if you already know it... PG gets a little crazy on the solo, but I think he manages to keep it quite musical. He does a good job of making it distinctly his own yet retains the core "feel" (you know, IMSVHFO). While my Guitar Gently Weeps... Have I ever mentioned that Paul wrote me an email? -mitch

sw686blue Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Amazing, really like that. One of the bent notes was a bit sharp though.
silentman Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I have the DVD. Great stuff all thru the performance...Here's a link to the setlist form that night:http://www.concertdvdreviews.com/Reviews/Y...tterCustard.htm
Jeff R Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I e-mailed PG several months ago about a rare vintage Ibanez I was selling, to see if he had one in his collection of rare vintage Ibanez stuff. He e-d me back almost immediately and told me he already had one, but thanked me for offering it to him. Nice guy.Funny...last night's CD spins included three Racer X discs and the first two Mr. Big discs lol
Feynman Posted November 7, 2008 Author Posted November 7, 2008 Nice! But I didn't see any lovely ladies. Lovely Lads. LADS. One of the bent notes was a bit sharp though. You know, I keep telling PG to watch out for that kind of amateur stuff, but he's still learning. He'll get there. I have the DVD. Great stuff all thru the performance... Nice! That one's going in my stocking request form. Hey JeffRo - don't forget I called dibs on that Ibby when you get tired of it. I called dibs on Nicks's UltraChap, too, so everyone leave him alone.
Jeff R Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 You have first dibs on the PGM if it decides to fly, Mitch, but you ain't gettin' the matching sky blue tux... Or my Malcolm X glasses, or my ultra-skinny black silk necktie, or my polyester slacks, or my white wingtips...
Guest JackButler Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Yellow Custard Matter IIRC was the project.. they also did a WHO tribute thing.
elduave Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Nice! But I didn't see any lovely ladies. Lovely Lads. LADS. Oh. the matching sky blue tux... Pablo would likely sooner go for that. LOVE Lean Into It!
atquinn Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Nice! But I didn't see any lovely ladies. Lovely Lads. LADS. Oh. Don't feel, bad, that's exactly the way I read it too. Then I clicked into the thread and was like WTF?!? -Austin
