Some friends of mine and I are trying to raise money for the widow (Crystal) of a musician friend (Eric R.) of ours who died tragically (i.e. mid 40's, mortgage, etc) and unexpectedly, of complications relating to heart failure. Hello everyone,

Recently, I have received emails and pm’s requesting a little more information on my guitars for sale. Here goes.

SOLD...The burst one is virtually unplayed and absolutely breathtaking, as the flame on the neck and the grain on the body is magnificent. A friend of mine works for a music store that carries custom shop Fender’s, Gibson’s, PRS’s, etc and he emphatically believes this guitar is on par with a Masterbuilt strat in the 4k plus range.

SOLD...The black one has a rich, woody tone. It has been professionally set up and rewired to original Hamer specs (i.e. open bridge pup), with a brand new, custom made Chandler pickguard (original Hamer specs) and brand new, Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro Staggered pups.

SOLD...The white one has also been professionally set up and is a feather, weighing about 7.3 pounds and with a warm, deep voice that sustains beautifully. It has the best sounding bridge pup I’ve ever heard, as it’s got a biting growl like quality, not thin or shrill.

The Monaco Elite is a tone monster…it’s chambered so it only weighs about 8.6 pounds and it has a deep, warm voice that sustains forever. Fat and warm on the neck pup and fat and searing on the bridge pup.

The Studio Custom has a rich and articulate, almost acoustic voice. Probably the purest tone of the entire group. The tops on the Monaco Elite and the Studio Customs look like wet glass, with a 3 dimensional quality.

These are great guitars, and Hamerfan50 is a righteous dude.

I played the Chambered Monaco Elite and it is easily in the top 5 Hamers I have ever played. Light and super resonant and IMO, the nicest Hamer finish available.

1. The 3 Daytonas are sold...thank you very much.

2. Neither the Studio Custom or the Monaco Elite met their respective, individual reserve price of $1,500.

3. As a result, my friend Seth who is running the auctions on my behalf will be contacting, via email, all of the individuals who were "watching" either guitar (i.e. the Monaco Elite had 46 people and the Studio Custom had 41 people) on Ebay and inquiring if they are interested in either guitar and if so, what their maximum firm bid is.

4. We will sell the guitars to the highest bidder.
