silentman Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Check with alpep (Lost art). He had a bunch of older Hamer TKL's
cmatthes Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Why are those things so damned hard to find? Daytonas and T-51s seem to be missing the original cases more than 50% of the time. It's weird...possibly the 9th greatest mystery of the modern era?
bubs_42 Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 I know, i'm glad some great HFC'ers tipped me off about the Daytona Case at Dadd's. It's on it's way. I still don't have a Sunburst with the original case. Good luck on your search.
Feynman Posted December 12, 2008 Author Posted December 12, 2008 So, what the hell do people do with them then?! This truly is a mystery. What exactly should I be looking for? How will I know a T51 case from another Hamer case? Anyone got a pic of one? Thanks.

Feynman Posted December 12, 2008 Author Posted December 12, 2008 You are killing Gale with that pic, you know?
ArnieZ Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Yeah, I felt bad posting it, but I really couldn't stop myself It's a butchered guitar anyway, was originally a standard T51 and sent back to the factory to have the Fishman bridge installed. Jol and I discussed keeping the tone control intact and that's how it ended up with 3 controls. Vol, Vol, tone. ArnieZ
