sirDaniel Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 I'm thinkin' back and wondering if anyone topped badgerDave's trek from Minneapolis to New Hartford on wheels.... 1320 mile I believe. Butcher?Anyone?
cmatthes Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 If there was a jam on the Moon, Butcher would find a way there! I don't come anywhere close to that mileage, but I've driven 4+ hours for one. Six-Seven hours if you count the New Hartford HFC Jams...
tafkathundernotes Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 I believe Jim Morgan's trip from Galesburg, IL was a close second. Probably could have carpooled most of the way. Earlier this year, I gave some serious consideration to a road trip for the Midwest Jam. My work situation was too shaky at the time.
BadgerDave Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 Considering I slept through Indiana and Pennsylvania, it really wasn't much of an acccomplishment.I do remember waking up and seeing some dood with red eyes, billy-bob teeth and a trucker billboard hat driving the van. That was mildly disturbing.
hardheartedbill Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 not sure about the single distance, but Butcher MUST have the total distance driven record by a long shot
BCR Greg Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 Tom's 8 hours is the record, but Butcher seems to have family everywhere. Nobody has logged more TOTAL HFC gig miles than Butcher.
