Abaco Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 video clipHere is a video clip of me having fun with my Hamer. I do a pickup switch stutter trick but it doesn't really come out very well in the clip. We have fun playing this stuff.
hardheartedbill Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 nice! I wish the fidelity was better, but it sounds like your doin one hell of a good Dave M to me ( vocally and chops-wise )! Any stuff w/ higher sound quality?
kurtsstuff Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Cool stuff!!...I can tell you guy's are "loud"....the way it's supposed to be....
serial Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Looks (and sounds) very cool. Of course, as Kiz will tell you, I have no idea what that whole "stutter" thing is about.
Turdus Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Decent. The guy with the LP looks like John Nymann.... at least in the video.

If so, I haven't seen you guys around town unless you're based in southern California. If you guys are from northern California, let me know when you're next gig is. Guitar George
Abaco Posted June 29, 2005 Author Posted June 29, 2005 Yeah Guitar George, our members are from the Bay Area and I'm in the Sacramento area. That video was shot in Yuba City, at the Towne Pump. We are playing in Livermore in a few weeks, and in Sacramento in August. Check out the dates at Earthshaker's Website Thanks for asking.
md2020 Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 Hi abaco - do you have more clips, say of "Forever" or (my fave) "25 Hours a Day"?I'm a very late arrival to the Y&T party, but there was a great bar band in the DC area back in the day called Darius that introduced me to "25 Hours" and I've always loved that tune. Thanks for posting.
Abaco Posted July 7, 2005 Author Posted July 7, 2005 I don't have a digital clip of either of those tunes. We do "Forever" (usually ending a set with it), but early on I was amazed at how 25 Hours would get screwed up over and over so I made the decision to drop it - haha. We could probably figure it out now, though.
jettster Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 Good stuff.Sound quality is similar to some of the live recordings I've done. Those little mics on the cameras get overwhelmed easily. lol
kurtsstuff Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 We used to have so much fun playing "Mean Streak"....Umm....wait a minute...It's still frickin fun!!!
