The Shark Posted February 20, 2009 Author Posted February 20, 2009 Beautiful Guitar, Peter. Sorry I haven't surfaced for a few days. Too many tax returns and too little time. I'm holding out for somebody to offer up one with crowns. If not, I'll contact you.

This one of my favorites, a '78, you might be interested in. Has changed tuners and saddles. Really great guitar and original case

serial Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Is it 3 piece neck?Whats neck profile like?Ship to UK?Got any more pics?No three piece necks until mid-1979. That's a 78 and it should have a fat neck if it's like all of the others I've pawed.Wow-$1500 is a great price, even in this economy for a 78!
Hamerphite Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Wow-$1500 is a great price, even in this economy for a 78! If I can get into a guitar at a good price, I don't mind passing that on to the next guy. But for the guitars that I pay "all the money" for, I'm gonna ask all the money if I sell it - which is the case for these two beautiful 78's. I wasn't planning to put them up for sale, and they are not actively listed anywhere for sale, but if somebody out there is jonesing for a beautiful pair of early 78's (first digit after each 8 is 0) with very strong color, nice flame and perfect players, medium weights, great frets, and is willing to spend the money, lets tawk.... Both have original cases, the dotneck has the original receipt from 1978. Yes.
bubs_42 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Well congrats all around. I can alway's use one more.
Guest pirateflynn Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Gentlemen, please stick to your own For Sale/ Wanted Ads. Feel free to bump them once a day. Good luck in your search!
The Shark Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 Nevermind. A guy hijacks my thread and gets a guitar. Then, he starts his own thread. I get a warning for posting on his thread. "Apologies" make it all better. I'm out.
