rugby1970 Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 year? fret wire condition? any dings or buckle rash?
gnochman Posted March 28, 2009 Author Posted March 28, 2009 year? fret wire condition? any dings or buckle rash? It is a '96. No dings of any substance. Fret wire looks great. Took a closeup of the "worst" fret @ the second wire under the G string. No more buckle rash than a new Guitar at Guitar Center See pics.
gnochman Posted April 5, 2009 Author Posted April 5, 2009 Is there a better way to celebrate Palm Sunday than with a Hamer? WWJPlay.

gnochman Posted April 24, 2009 Author Posted April 24, 2009 Finally a nice day outside. I don't appear to be the best at capturing flames on camera, but the pic. looks close. Also snapped the back of the neck to show that it's intact and has never been worked on. And there are no scratches or dings on the back of the neck. Lastly, snapped a shot of "the other girl." '93 PRS I've had since she was born. Good thing I'm not selling her though, 'cause I just can't get a good shot of her top
Citrus Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 You are a braver man than me. Whenever I see a guitar I want, I think about the Hamer till I open the caseI won't let mine go. Same color, yr etc.The wrap bridge 90 Hamers studios or artists are THE best bargain bang for the buck out there. That and I think the 90's had the most 3D tops out thereIt was the 2nd Hamer I ever bought.Wish I still had my first - a 90 something Archtop in natural with a tune-o-matic. I sold that to get a PRS - the PRS lasted about 6 months and came back home to Hamer - 8 Hamers and counting.

gnochman Posted April 25, 2009 Author Posted April 25, 2009 Figure I'll add my third. She's a little homely next to the other gals but she's got P-90s. For reference, the PRS is a "10 top."
gnochman Posted April 27, 2009 Author Posted April 27, 2009 just have to note that it's amazing that I can get 3-4x the price for my '93 PRS than this Hamer. As mentioned, it's a great guitar but I'm looking for an archtop (80's Ibanez Artist, Gibson cs-336, etc.).
