Awesome!!!

JEM - please let me know the specs on the yellow paint (PPG codes or whatnot) if you get a chance. A buddy is going to paint a few guitars for me and that is the exact shade I am after. I have a thing for yellow. :-)

Unfortunatley it isn't to a formula, i asked my paint supplier for something 'sort of canary yellow' and we mucked about until it got to what i thought looked right. Note that there is a small amount of white pearl in there which lifts the colour somewhat especially under strong light.

That guitar is really cool. In the bright light, it has all the shredder appeal you could want. But there is something elegant about that guitar in the softer light. I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe its the shape of the DCs.

If she sounds half as good as she looks, you've got a monster guitar. : )

Absolutely disgusting, feel free to send it to me so I can put some Shlabotniks in there. It may take several years but it will be worth it. I promise you that I will not play it over that time....honest...I never lie. Joe makes a killer sustainer pup. We all know those limey bastards are sneaky buggers...he probably put a bogger in the neck pocket. LOL!!!

Seriously...that guitar looks awesome. I can only imagine the sonic damage that will be done with that in the hands of a player of your caliber. Gotta post the vids when you get a chance.

Well you did a great job. So many Yellow's have too much orange in them.

Sustainer with octave boost. Man that is cheating!

I have that in one of my Jacksons - a PC1.

Friggen awesome feature.

I use to wonder how Vai got all those slow notes to sustain and then jump up an octave. I thought he was tapping the string after the 24th fret on his JEM or something.

Then I found out he used a sustainer and that explained it all. I think Satch uses one too.

The fingerboard looks like an Airport Runway in the dark.

Exactly, the first one he mixed was far too orangey (if that's a word) and he dumped it and started again - it's a very white yellow with the pearl adding depth without colour.........if you get my drift.

You know how some cars look fast just sitting there? Well, that's what this guitar looks like. Very cool. Congrats, Kevin. I can't wait for some video!
