That'd take a lot more than a Historic LP to get me to part with that one! After I got it, I went looking in an old guitar mag that I had a vague recollection of from '89 or '90 and it had a pic of this one in a sidebar about Scotti's gear. I hadn't seen any other tobacco burst ones, especially ones with only a vol control and the grain looked exact. A check at the factory at HFC5 confirmed it.

I snatched a dream axe from under him and sort of feel bad about it -- but I am absolutely enamoured with the guitar and also would feel very bad about selling it. Any axe that finds its way to him will surely be loved and played like it deserves, though. Wow, rereading that, it sounds like I wouldn't mind assuaging my guilt on someone else's dime.
