bulletbob Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 In dead mint as new condition... Stunning Mapleglo, with lots of figuring. Lots of dancing flame in the neck! It has had maybe an hours or two playtime since it was built in 2001.. Not a scratch. Absolutely shiny new, flawless condition. Plays like butter and the sound is classic Ric 12.. The toaster top pickups were a very expensive option.. Most of these did NOT have toasters..These have been discontinued, and I swear you won't find one closer to new... Looking to trade for PRS Custom 22, PRS CE 22 PRS Swamp Ash,,, May consider other high end or vintage guitars or vintage tube amps.... Also would consider a pedal steel guitar of equal value. Trade deals like this are exceedingly rare. No one trades Hi end mint condition Ric 12 strings.. The economy is bad, NO ONE has money, so I understand.. Maybe someone has gear they want to swap. I am only trying to trade it because I am buying a Ric 660-12 which has a somewhat wider neck.. I have NO need for 2 Ric 12 strings... Let me know what you have, but be realistic... These guitars are selling all the time on ebay in the $2,000 range.. some below, some a lot higher depending on the day and the guitar.. Please don't offer me your MIK Epiphone LP and $50.... bob Please email with interest. bullet_bob@lycos.com

DavidE Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Is this the one with the normal width neck? Like the Tom Petty model?
bulletbob Posted April 8, 2010 Author Posted April 8, 2010 Is this the one with the normal width neck? Like the Tom Petty model? The "normal" neck on the 370-12 is the same as the 330-12,and 360-12... Its quite narrow, and they always have been .The neck you are thinking of is only available on the Ric 660-12 solid body guitar, and on the Tom Petty 660-12 guitar which is just a 660-12 with a Tom Petty signature on the pickguard, and triple the price, bob
crunchee Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Wow, love the look of the maple on the neck! This one still has the 'old style' 12 headstock, before they started routing completely through it. You can still get this style headstock on the 'vintage' RI 12s, I think--but of course you have to pay for the vintageness.

If you move the guitar slightly, it does the "flame dance"... Its a magnificent guitar.

bulletbob Posted April 13, 2010 Author Posted April 13, 2010 Wow... Surprised at the lack of interest in a Ric 12....
serial Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 VERY interested, I just doubt I have anything you'd be looking for. Unless you're interested in a very clean 1980 Dean Z Standard (the good ones). Looking to turn that into a 12 string at present.
cmatthes Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 You said you were looking for a PRS...and an amp... I take it you didn't mean a PRS Amp, right?
bulletbob Posted April 14, 2010 Author Posted April 14, 2010 You said you were looking for a PRS...and an amp... I take it you didn't mean a PRS Amp, right? Actually, I have seen PRS amps, but no not looking for one of them. Also, the Dean is very cool if you are into that sort of thing, but at soon to be 56 years old, its a tad too radical for my tastes... bob
