Extremely rare, Hamer USA Korina Jr and Korina Special. 1 of a set of 6 designed for the 1999 NAMM show and sold through a few select dealers. One or two of the 6 sets even came with a huge, custom, dual-guitar Anvil case. This matched pair have consecutive stamped serial numbers 949954 & 949955 and both are also stamped 005. The ‘Junior’ has a 6lbs 12oz, rare ‘One-piece’ Korina body. Overall EX+ condition. But, has a two small dings (lower horn and body edge) No other dings, worming or any wear. It’s been played lightly. No fret wear. The ‘Special’ is 7lbs 2oz, 2-piece Korina body. Near-Mint showing no wear, dings or marks at all. Virtually unplayed! No fret wear also. You don't see that many Hamer Specials out there. Both are 100% original condition. Original Duncan P-90 pickups, Vintage Hamer neck carves with beautiful Rosewood boards. Both play effortlessly with low action, straight necks and are great sounding guitars. They did a nice job picking really resonant wood for this limited series as both sound very similar! Each comes with a separate mint condition Hamer hard-shell case and not the Buick-size, Anvil dual road case. Both are Sold!!!
