crunchee Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 I've not seen a S/N done like that before. Wouldn't it normally be yellow ink stamped on a black background?
cornjulio Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 I've not seen a S/N done like that before. Wouldn't it normally be yellow ink stamped on a black background?Yep, but I think that's actually the case with this one it's just a bad picture.I have a b&w graphics special that I bought of serial and it has no serial no. Apparently yellow on black is a bad idea when it comes to ink.
cmatthes Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 That is the yellow ink on the black background - probably a combination of a bad picture as cornjulio said, and a lot of the excess yellow ink needed to show up on the black. I've seen others like that. Not pretty, but you can still read that one at least. One of the cooler graphics I've seen for sale recently too.

The focus of the photo (or lack thereof) makes it look almost like 'cut and paste' numbers to me, glad it isn't! +1 on the graphic!
DaveL Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 wow, the pics aren't great but definitely one of the cleaner B/W's I've seen...
