Jack C Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Those Sportsters are Bad Ass. I have a humbucker version and it is just an awesome guitar. What neck does that one have? I think Sportsters usually have the Mild V carve - which is beefier than anything I have ever seen on a Hamer. Killer neck.
hardheartedbill Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I have the match to the McInturff, trust me, just buy it, they are unreal! I seriously doubt that Terry will be making any more "production" guitars like the sportster, just buy it and thanks me ( and Jack C ) later

sw686blue Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Jason is a great guy to deal with. Sold him my Special FM.Jason, the guitar should be there either today or tomorrow. Wish I had some extra cash or something to trade you for the McInturff. What a killer guitar!Nick
sw686blue Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 Thanks, Nick!McInturff just sold. D-A-M-N!!!!!Glad it sold...I don't need the evil looks from my wife!
JayCal Posted August 24, 2005 Author Posted August 24, 2005 Price reduction on the remaining Special. It's in really great shape.
JayCal Posted August 24, 2005 Author Posted August 24, 2005 I don't have measurements for the neck, but it's a medium carve. Definitely chunkier than my '61 Reissue SG, but not as fat as my PRS wide/fat.
black magic Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 I have owned many Specials, and some, especially the 1992 and early 93`s were very thin. Man, I wish I could see that one. Is it an original humbucker Special, or was it converted from a P-90 model? Thanks-Jack.
