Victor (Fret Friend) Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 If you have a wave editor, you can grab your own track, deleting the parts you don't want & save it (your selection) as an mp3. Then upload it into the 'Ringtone' directory on your phone using your USB lead. That's the way I do it. GoldWave is a good audio editing prog & I have an old version on my old webpage. All you need is in the .rar file http://www.vicnliz.madasafish.com/

zenmindbeginner Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 I make my own ringtones for the iPhone. You basically have to keep the created ringtone clip less then 20 seconds and make sure that you have selected .mp4 as your output codec when you save the ringtone clip. How many ringtones do you need? I can easily make a few for you if you are having trouble and I have the songs or can find them easily. You will need audio editing software to accomplish this task though. I am sure that there are free programs out there but I have no experience with any of them. Audacity is great, but I don't think that it can output to an .mp4 file, but I may be wrong.
