mattsmith Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------In mid October a new website will launch. It's called workshop live. http://www.workshoplive.com/wsl_spw.htmI've been in the midst of writing my contributions and I wanted to tell you guys about it.. It's a completely new way of teaching. Some people are auditory learners, some visual, some tactile... the site is a guitar teaching site..fome absolute beginner to master, in acoustic, rock, blues, and jazz. you have 24/7 access to any lesson on the site for about $30 a month. The site features the instructors of the National guitar workshop, I've been teaching there for 17 years, and the instructors are all great friends, more like family.I honestly feel they are some of the finest instuctors in the country, and I'm honored to be among them. Dave Smolover, the founder of the whole deal is a great human being. He started developing this 8 years ago, and has created something truly unique in this project. Workshop Live!!
BCR Greg Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 OOOOOOOOOH. Matt said "tactile"...You get me hot when you talk dirty, fella!
hikarateboy Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Matt, if there ever was a supporter of Hamer you are one and now an hfc support welcome to the outer circle or considering the amount of boobie pics that show up there may I should refer to it as the utter circle. ummm actually that only happens some what regularly. For what its worth I think that this post does just fine on this board as you are playing a hamer when working on your submissions for the workshop right? Hamer content fullfilled.
mattsmith Posted September 3, 2005 Author Posted September 3, 2005 Yikes! I think I'll stay on this side of the circle .
cmatthes Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Matt:Sounds VERY cool! I'm still picking up things (and have FAR more to learn) from your "Chop Shop" stuff and recently dug out some notes I scrawled from a workshop you gave years ago. BTW - couldn't have picked out a better slide myself! Thanks again!!
