gorch Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 A nice way to have a headless Youtube videos to be smart.
veatch Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Nice schtick.Could be wrong, but those look like man-paws to me.
Ting Ho Dung Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Definitely He-She's (not that that's a bad thing). Been to Thailand too many times. Can spot them a mile away. They're cute and cuddly. But there is just one dangling question I can't get past.
tobereeno Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 while some of them might be guys in drag, the culture in Asia for both guys and girls is to hide their identity while they're shredding on YouTube. Like, check out the example of "funtwo", the Korean guitarist that took the shred version of Pachabel's Canon viral. While he was eventually "outed" and made appearances on Korean TV and jammed live with Joe Satriani, he really had to be dragged out of anonymity. His hat covering his face in the video is no accident. From what I hear, keeping anonymity is even more important in Japan.
gorch Posted March 19, 2012 Author Posted March 19, 2012 Well, funtwo was an early mover, but did not hide as much as any one else for my opinion. In the original video here was just wearing a cap and used to have a sunny window in the back. The girly thing is a bit different I think, because regardless of the real gender they dress-up Harajuki style.
Ting Ho Dung Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Boy or Girl stil a good player to be fair Oh yeah, for sure. They're awesome players.
tobereeno Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 definitely a girl. transgender asians are harder to spot than other races, but you can still tell.
