Jimbilly Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 It's not a Hamer topic, and doesn't really fit in the OC, so: I have a block logo 5150 head in good original condition, the only thing wrong w/ it is the ryhthm pre-gain knob has no 'stop' at 0 or 10, but it works fine. I posted an ad in my local craigslist looking for Hamer trades, but of course a guy emailed me asking how much $$. what do y'all think?, $500?, $600? Obviously, if any of you local hfc'rs want it, I'd make you a good deal.
Armitage Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Regular 5150 heads have been going for $800 on eBay lately. You might want to get that pot fixed...
black magic Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 There is a guy on the Jackson Board looking for one, do you want his info? Jack.
Jimbilly Posted October 5, 2005 Author Posted October 5, 2005 jack; thanks, but I'd probably have to ship it then. I'd offer it here for a good price first if I decide to ship it, I like the buyers here so much better than anywhere else! If he's near Seattle I'd be happy to make a deal w/ him. Kurt; are you suggesting I make a profit?!?! So, $600 or $700 would be a good range? That pot doesn't seem like a big deal, the trouble areas are easily avoided, -either use the high gain channel or don't turn it below zero or over ten!

Nah..Jim....just the usual "$350.00" HFC going rate on anything....lol!
sirDaniel Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 I got one at a pawn shop this year for $350. flipped it on the bay for 750. Block letter. Tome, it's not a $750 amp.
Jimbilly Posted October 5, 2005 Author Posted October 5, 2005 I'm thinking of recovering mine with tennis ball material, or maybe golf balls... Joking aside, that basketball one was cool.
