atquinn Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 O.k., I haven't been able to locate a Diablo I that fits my picky aesthetics, so I'm now opening myself up to any old Diablo I, as long as it's in great condition. If you've got one you'd like to sell, please let me know about it. Thanks.-Austin
jwhitcomb3 Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 My Orange DiabloRio Grande Tallboy (neck) and Muy Grande (bridge) humbuckers, each split via push-pull pots. Extremely versatile. When split the pickups are real, full fledged single coil pickups that Rio sells separately...these humbuckers are each made from two of those single coil pickups reverse wound and packaged together. If you don't like to compromise on your single coil sound but still want the power and grunt of humbucker pickups at your fingertips, this guitar will do it. Frets recently dressed, new jack. A couple dings (see pictures) but a great player.$545 shipped in continental US.-Jonathan
ET_KenW Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 FYI. Not mine and not associated to them.http://www.musicgoround.com/gear/inventory...s.asp?id=393193
Nuclear Wessel Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 The green one on E Bay is an import. There was a green USA Diablo on E Bay just a day or so ago. Someone must have snapped that one up.That is a really good price for that one at Music Go Round.
jettster Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 I have a Diablo I and II (Not for sale.), both are great guitars and much more versatile than most people give credit. They usually have beefier necks than the typical Hamer shredder but,You can't go wrong with a Diablo.
atquinn Posted October 15, 2005 Author Posted October 15, 2005 Thanks for all the offers guys. I'm going to be looking at a couple of local Diablos next week (someone saw my post and emailed me about a couple they had) and I'll get back with you if necessary. -Austin
