kurtsstuff Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 White (pearl) that has faded into a nice yellowish/golden hue..Had a Kahler but now has gibson fine tune bridge and regular saddle no mods were necessary to do this..everything just mounts on the exsisting hardware. All original parts will be included as well as original case, Gold hardware and no fret wear. This guitar is a great player!! whats the term?...umm...buttah?? Awesome axe!! $750.00 shipped
kurtsstuff Posted October 15, 2005 Author Posted October 15, 2005 Oh!! and of course....trades always encouraged...This is a great guitar but just not my thing..
442w30 Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 I had always been under the impression that when those stud-mount kahlers were installed a bit had to be routed out between the two 'parts' of a TOM.Doesn't look like that's the case here. Is that a myth? Or a mod for more range on the trem?Great Deal on this BTW. If I wasn't sickly upside down on some bills you'd have a PM!

Oh..I'm sorry...you misunderstood...yes..there is a route under the saddle and tailpiece but no alterations to make the standard setup work if you look real closely you can just make it out and it's a super clean job...almost looks like they did it with a cookie cutter it's such a clean job.....hope that makes sense??
kurtsstuff Posted October 16, 2005 Author Posted October 16, 2005 Oh and it was a factory installed Kahler....not a garage hack job...hehe
kurtsstuff Posted October 16, 2005 Author Posted October 16, 2005 Or if you prefer...I'll put it back to original form for ya!!??
kurtsstuff Posted October 16, 2005 Author Posted October 16, 2005 $100.00 off for my sunday HFC brethren!!!!!
geoff_hartwell Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 Are there any indications that it came from the custom shop? COA, logo etc. Thanks!Geoff
cmatthes Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 It looks like a Custom Shop decal on the back of the headstock, but I can't see close up. That is probably the case, as I remember seeing a few of those in the past.
kurtsstuff Posted October 16, 2005 Author Posted October 16, 2005 Yep.....Custom shop edition in gold leaf is what that sticker on the back of the headstock says....
geoff_hartwell Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 A-ha! Sweeeet. Can you post a pic of the routed area/bridge/tailpiece?Thanks!Geoff
