diablo175 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Need a back (trem cavity) cover & a truss rod cover for my Blitz. Black is preferred but any color will do as I can get them painted if need be.Also looking to buy black 6-in-line tuners, Hamer stamped would be outta f-ing sight. Otherwise, Schallers or Grovers will work nicely.Lastly, since she is definitely gonna get new paint, I'm looking for Hamer stadium logo wet transfer or vinyl decal.
crunchee Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Is your trem cavity the type that used the multiply plastic cover? You could probably have one made if that's the case, provided someone already doesn't have one handy.

Andrew Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Correct pattern b/w 2 ply for trem cover and TRC can be bought from Chandlers (Pickguard Heaven).1985 guitars often had single ply black trem covers, though.

bubs_42 Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Ya right! The Big F I doubt would allow that.
diablo175 Posted December 29, 2012 Author Posted December 29, 2012 F*ck FMIC and their lawyers. There are numerous ways to get that logo on the Blitz. Dan Lawrence did a brilliant job keeping the original logo on my Python Cali. I'm reasonably certain he said he just masked it out during painting. If Dan can do that, I would imagine Mike Learn can do the same. I was merely trying to make it easier for Mike, with the decal or water transfer.
