MCChris Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 The disrespect continues: I gotta say, trans black on these is awesome: http://www.elderly.com/vintage/items/30U-17985.htm
FrankieIII Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Trans black is about the only finish I've ever liked double stained...
svl Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 What's the 411 on these? What axe is it most like (assuming LPs)? What's the neck like? Thanks for any info. I love the finish on this, and have heard nothing except good on the model but no first hand experience.
cmatthes Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Agree with the Muse...that one flat out rocks in the looks department.
bubs_42 Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Looks alot my old one but it isn't. Transblack is Awsome! I'd like to have a Trans Black Studio one day.

You can almost forget about getting to the 22nd fret if you like to hang them low. Fat Neck Vintage Carve most likely. We all have this thing with Hamer Necks, they are pretty consistant through the years depending on Models. 2000 on though most everything but the Tally's were Vintage Carve unless otherwised requested. The Monaco is a Monaco and not a Les Paul, the pickups do a complete 180 in the Elite opposite the Superpro. They flat out RIP in the Elite, take no prisoners.
Spike Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Hey c'mon. Cut 'em a break. Obviously, the webmaster screwed up. They probably meant to say "not sure but I think it was somebody from The Who."
