WTB: Rockman rack gear

I wish I still had one to sell ya. I had the distortion generator many, many moons ago and while my taste in tone was lousy different back then, it had a bunch of cool options.

Good luck on the hunt!

Oops...I'll clean it out! I've been trying to get in touch with Rebekka for a couple of months but haven't gotten replies...maybe that's why!

I might have an XPR for you. The transformer would have to be rewired to 110 volts. Ought to be a simple cable swap.

Finally putting together the Boston tribute band you've been dreaming of for so long?

Lol...! I gotta say that I still think that first album sounds great today even though it was released in what, 1976?

Nah, I'm just feeling a little nostalgic about some older tones (good or otherwise) and wanna mess with it a little. This follows my last "retro-tone-quest" of firing up my old rack setup; ADA MP-1, Alesis Midiverb and Lee Jackson power amp through a pair of stereo cabs...that was a blast!

I never had the Rockman rack gear, although I did have the small battery operated Rockman.

Add in a good eq and you can really "tune" them and de-boston-ize. Also best run through a full range system.

The XPR is the ultimate since it is one unit with the works. Been a while since I priced these out but some individual modules were going for over $300 each five years ago, like the stereo chorus module.

Joe Satriani used these on some tracks of the Surfing with the Alien album.

Have fun.
