polara Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I live in a condo.I have ten guitars. Not a tenable situation. This is a MIK Daytona. It has one ding that cracked the clear coat on the back of the lower horn, and one on the headstock. Some pick swirling. No buckle rash, frets are great, neck is arrow straight, action is lower than my USA Daytona. Sounds great, plays great, looks great. I've seen worse condition sold as "like new," but that's BS. Still, no corrosion, no fret wear, no dirt, no worming, no scrapes.I removed the string tree for a day to see if I needed it. I did, so it is back on. Comes with the wiggle stick, too.$125.00Plus $50 for a very nice gig bag if you want it.Plus shipping: prob'ly in the $30 range.Hate to get rid os something this nice but my daughter's closet is full of guitars, they are stuffed under our bed... it's crazy.Thanks,/Rick
ZR Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Man, you don't know how tempting that is. That is a great deal! I live in Woodstock, suburb of ATL, and could easily pick it up but have sworn off more guitars until ...well, who knows how long. I could use a strat type guitar too...oh well! Good luck with the sale!! See you around town sometime!
MCChris Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I removed the string tree for a day to see if I needed it. I did.I carried it around with me for days and days.. Playing little games Like not looking at it for a whole day And then.. looking at it. To see if I still liked it. I did.
polara Posted April 12, 2013 Author Posted April 12, 2013 ZR, a hunner twenny five isn't a guitar! It's... um... your new office guitar, that's it! It's a li'l keepsake, it's decor, it's for your nephew who's about to turn 12. And I'd do $120 to just meet at Perimeter Mall to hand off.
ZR Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I already have 7 office guitars!! That's enough of a distraction while trying to actually get work done!
whiskeyzulu Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I have the same one - well built MIK guitar for the scratch.
