coolfeel Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 That is the going price at Guitar Center for a pack of 12 picks. Have a pack of picks always been more expensive than a pack of strings?
Jem Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I brought a box of 100 Herco Flex 50's in 1986 for £13 and i've still got 30 or so left so perhaps it's time to buy a box full ?
dragan Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 never as far as I know, 3 for a quarter at the music store back in the day
alantig Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Dunlop Ultex Sharps - $6 for a six-pack at GC, three for a buck at the music store I hit near Boston last week.
dragan Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I pretty sure you can still buy a gross of std fender style 351s on line for around $30
hamerhead Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Get this:http://www.uncommongoods.com/product/pick-punch...and use it on the wife's credit cards. You'll save a boatload of money.
coolfeel Posted August 1, 2013 Author Posted August 1, 2013 Interesting device. Wonder where you would get the plastic material for the pick?

dragan Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Interesting device. Wonder where you would get the plastic material for the pick? Her purse? that may cost you more in the long run http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/dunlop-ultex-sharp-picks--6-pack $3 dunlap ultra sharps. guess thats the going price
Tres Aardvarks Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 $6 for a 6-pack? Gyah! I don't remember them being so much, and if I was going to stock up I'd pick mine up for a lot less. I like Gator Grips or Tortex, and can get them 12 for $4! The only music store I've stepped foot in since moving to Virginia was BCR Music, so I have no idea what the going rate around here is.
