Ting Ho Dung Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 For my Daytona and how do I do it? Do I have to send off the one I have so they can trace it? How much does it cost? If there are any other stupid questions I've forgotten to ask, please let me know.
Tortious Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I've used these guys in the past, never had a problem: http://pickguards.us/pricehamer.htmlThey might want you to trace it, read through their 'how to order' section, but they have the pattern already, just pick out the style you want.
bubs_42 Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 They made me one Daytona guard and three T-51 guards. You still hanging onto that Seafoam Daytona?

cynic Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Unless you're looking for something crazy specific, save your money and buy a strat guard on eBay. Use the existing guard to trace the pocket profile and cut it to match. The pocket width is the same, you'll just need to square the corners a bit. Less than a five minute job start to finish.

Nest time I do a string change I'll match it up and see if it's something I can handle. Thanks for the suggestion.
bubs_42 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 They are close, the neck pocket and then the one screw hole near the input jack is usually out of location.
