They weren't all looking at mostly the same thread this time, but it was obviously excessive. I checked again just now and it was like 4 pages, a lot more 'normal'.

Could have been a box for a Vanguard HB. Same size, basically same guitar except mahogany vs. korina, and the finish. Did the box have a serial number on it that matched yours?

Closest I've ever been to having a Charvel is one of these, Wayne-designed. Interesting guitars. Looks very much like this: Not sure how long he lasted there, or if it was just a contract gig, or what the real story was with them. He certainly had a profound effect on the guitar world. When I worked in a store here like 25 years ago, we had a 'Wayne' guitar that was covered in a shell material. I remember it being rather cool.

I've reached an age where I am starting to plot in my head that at some point in the next couple of years, I need to start doing what you've been doing. 47 guitars (9 Hamers for the scorekeepers) and assorted amps/effects etc all crammed into a one-bedroom condo has been great fun for me, but nothing goes on forever. At least the condo is paid for and I don't 'have to' do anything until I want to.

They are attempting to remain a going concern though. Dean Guitars’ parent company, Armadillo Enterprise, has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, it has been announced. Armadillo Distribution Enterprises and Concordia LLC, the intellectual property holding company for Dean Guitars, Luna Guitars and ddrums, have voluntarily filed jointly under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the Middle District of Florida. Notably, a Chapter 11 filing does not mean the company is going into liquidation. Unlike a Chapter 7 filing, which winds down operations, this route instead involves a court-supervised reorganization that will allow Armadillo and Concordia LLC to restructure their financial obligations. It will also mean both companies – and by extension, Dean Guitars – will be continuing normal business operations while the restructuring takes place. Or learn how to do it himself. He learned how to do a lot of other things like that, and clearly has the brains and ability. I understand his studio is quite cramped and it may be a huge pita to get equipment out and sent off, but he could get someone from anywhere that's capable of it, fly them in, put them in a hotel for a few days, and let them fix it. So, given the history of 'stories' with this crew, there may be some or no truth to it. Even in that article, there are numerous other claims about the history of the band and making the first record that are suspect at best. Wow, that's unpleasant. They hadn't toured since 2017. I know Tommy had his own thing going too, and it sometimes referred to him as 'former' lead singer of Boston, but could never find out if that was intentional. Tom claimed a couple years ago that his analog recorder had broken and he couldn't find anyone to fix it. Still refused to go digital. Never was able to find out if any of that was true or not. That entire operation has pushed 'stories' since the very beginning, and appears to have spent far more time in courtrooms than it ever did on stage.

I have noticed if you look at 'Online Users', there are often pages and pages of 'Guest' (bots, obviously) all looking at mostly the same thread. Does this site get a constant bot swarm doing shit like that to slow it down and chew bandwidth?
