Faber Bridge

Question

Posted

I'm looking at a guitar drilled for a Gotoh 510 bridge. Hole centers are 3.23"/82mm

http://www.warmoth.com/Gotoh-510-Stud-Mount-Bridge-Chrome-P554C706.aspx

I'd like to use the Faber wraparound bridge. Spacing is 3.25"/82.55mm

http://www.faberusa.com/product/faber-compensated-wraparound-tailpiece/#!

Can I make it fit? Or should I go a different direction?

Any and all advise greatly appreciated. :D

.02 is real close.

You probably get away with it with a set of tone Pro's locking stud kit,

which is ideal for the Faber.

Remember. Don't force it. Get a bigger hammer.

I swapped a Gotoh regular ABR-1 with Faber sucessfully.

Just adding some info on Faber bridges it,s my experience it has a sharper tone than other bridges adding some high end.If you like rock tones then go for it!

I have Faber Tone Lock on every single TOM guitar I own. I love they way they brighten it up-especially after a Nashville.
