Hbom Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I'm looking at a guitar drilled for a Gotoh 510 bridge. Hole centers are 3.23"/82mm http://www.warmoth.com/Gotoh-510-Stud-Mount-Bridge-Chrome-P554C706.aspx I'd like to use the Faber wraparound bridge. Spacing is 3.25"/82.55mm http://www.faberusa.com/product/faber-compensated-wraparound-tailpiece/#! Can I make it fit? Or should I go a different direction? Any and all advise greatly appreciated. edit: add links
murkat Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 .02 is real close. You probably get away with it with a set of tone Pro's locking stud kit, which is ideal for the Faber.
G Man Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I've got the faber/tonepros setup on my eclipse, fits well and works great.
luis Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I swapped a Gotoh regular ABR-1 with Faber sucessfully.Just adding some info on Faber bridges it,s my experience it has a sharper tone than other bridges adding some high end.If you like rock tones then go for it!
formula73 Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I have Faber Tone Lock on every single TOM guitar I own. I love they way they brighten it up-especially after a Nashville.
