I'd want good focusing, optical zoom, external mic, viewer, and tri-pod mounting.
Victor (Fret Friend) Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Well, I paid $250 for a used Canon HD [hard drive] camera and it's brilliant. The Samsung looks the best deal out of the 2 (the cheap one has too many bad reviews). I'd personally go with a used quality camera (my Canon was $1000 new) but the Samsung might be worth a punt...
SSII x 2 Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Don't know about those, but I like my GoPro a lot. Amazingly goodsound, which I wasn't expecting. I use it to record my band and we allhave a blast watching the videos...
Toadroller Posted July 23, 2015 Author Posted July 23, 2015 Mebbe I should borrow my boys' GoPro for a whirl. No harm in that.
ZR Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 I wouldn't go with the cheap one. The Samsung looks great. We have another version and the picture quality is awesome!
gorch Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 I've bought a decent iPhone. It covers all ground for me camera wise. It let me even rent bicycles too.
