FS: Scarab II in need of major repair

After some very refreshingly honest discussion about my motivation to repair this, I have decided to let it go as-is and let someone else make it whole again. This started out as a pretty nice guitar until it was badly damaged in shipping :) . The guitar was left to "float" in the case and when the box was dropped on its end, the guitar was bounced on the tip of the headstock making the truss rod try to escape and breaking the neck at the nut. I talked to BCR Greg about a repair and sent him pics already, but realized I wasn't gonna keep it anyway and that maybe someone who liked these might want to do a customization job on it or use it as an opportunity to try their hand at a neck repair. If anyone wants to take this on, please make an offer to buy it or trade for/towards something I might use. I wanted to like the Scarab, but found the neck to be WAY too skinny for my sausage fingers. I can't find the File attachments button to post images, but I can Email a complete set of pics upon request. Thanks. Z

Bump

Zoner is a good shit and WAY easy to deal with. And he packs stuff so it won't get bro.....well then, I guess that doesn't matter, does it?

Somebody jump on this. (I don't need another project I don't need another project I don't need another project I don't need another project ......)

Hey Christopher: Thanks For Pics. You should put this up on E Bay, I think it will bring ya a good price. I will for sure put my bid in. Thanks Again. Steve.

Well, before I go the Evilbay route, I'll offer it here at $195 shipped in the original case (which also fits a Standard I believe?). I gotta figure it is worth at least that much in parts/case, no? I may even take a stab at repairing it myself if there are no takers here as I can already hear the whining from the winning Ebay bidder; "Dude, it looks like the neck is broken twice and the case has a tear in the corner and there is no trem arm!" or some such foolishness.
