black magic Posted January 30, 2006 Author Posted January 30, 2006 I appreciate the offer bro!! I am looking for a natural colored LP Standard that was made recently, 2 versions, one has Gibson pickups, the other EMG`s. Thanks-Jack.
peedenmark7 Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 jack , youre not going soft on us are ya ?
black magic Posted February 1, 2006 Author Posted February 1, 2006 Naw man, always wanted a LP Standard, and I like the natural mahogany on these ones, and the newer ones have 2 EMG 81`s. Should be great for heavy crunch palm muting. I would go custom shop, but Gibson is out of control on their prices!! Jack.
DEMENTED Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Hey Jack, here ya go! I know you'll find something "wrong" and not buy it but I was looking out for ya.http://retroguitar.com/guitars/gibson/1998...Paul-Smartw.jpg
edgar_allan_poe Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Jack...what exactly is that Jackson not giving you in the "heavy crunch palm muting" area? That guitar was a monster.....Also...aren't you getting a Custom Shop Jackson that will cover this?
kizanski Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Oh Jack, let me know when you want to sell my Special back to me.Thanks.
black magic Posted February 12, 2006 Author Posted February 12, 2006 I appreciate the lead bro, but that is a LP Studio Smartwood. The Raw Power is a Standard with the crowns and binding and all mahogany with grover tuners. Rob, I am trying to sell my AT Soloist to put the money towards my Custom. The Special is amazing!! The only thing I would change is the frets to Medium Jumbo or Jumbos as the stock ones are kinda small, but what a killer guitar!! Thanks guys-Jack.
