LucSulla Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 I met him once at Quad in Nashville. Most of my band had no idea who he was, whereas I acted like I was meeting Jesus himself. I talked to him for 30 seconds maybe, but he was as cool as you'd hope.
gtone Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 Respect! Steve is THE soul man on guitar with a huge catalog of work to support his legacy. One of my guitar heroes for sure, I always try to think "what would Steve do" when a juicy R'n'B lick is called for.
