DavidE Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I have a nice cherry Gibson SG with the tan/pink lined hardshell case that I want to sell to fund something else. I'll have to put it on Ebay pretty quickly if I don't sell it the old fashioned way.$850 shipped in the continental U.S. Paypal ok if you pay the fees. Ship via FedEx ground insured.
Guest Buck Dharma Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 I think this used to be mine. If it is I always liked it allot!
DavidE Posted February 9, 2006 Author Posted February 9, 2006 I think this used to be mine. If it is I always liked it allot! Nope. I traded yours away a long time ago. That one went towards my first Naylor amp. :-)
Guest Buck Dharma Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 What year is this one and how does it compare to the 96 I had? I have been looking for a reissue lately.
DavidE Posted February 9, 2006 Author Posted February 9, 2006 This one is a '99. I honestly don't remember details about the one I got from you. I really do like this one from a playing and sound standpoint. I've always loved the way SGs look but for some reason they never seem to stick around with me. Just great guitars that are light weight and sound great.
Brewmaster Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Iv'e been looking for an SG again of late but with P-90's. My first electric was a 71 that I had for 20 + years. When you get a good one you hold on to it.
santellavision Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 My first electric was a 71 that I had for 20 + years. When you get a good one you hold on to it. My first (quality) guitar was a '72 Les Paul Custom. And I still have it! Except... it doesn't look exactly like it did when I got it.
RobB Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 holyguacaMOLE! The re-top is kickASS. It, er, has been re-topped, no?
Brooks Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 i had 2 SG's in high school/jr college; a white one (that i kahler-ized and sprayed the top black, pictured), and a red one w/ a bigsby.
MCChris Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 You'll jump at any opportunity to post that pic, won't you Brooks? LOL
