Question

Own a 1991 Hamer Vintage S (SSH).  It's in excellent shape - solid quilted maple ( highly figured), Honey colored,  Pau Ferro fretboard, Pau Ferro bird's eye neck, five way with push pull phase on Bridge Humbucker, the active Copeland  EQ works great.  The body has minimal body rash or dings.  Lost the Term bar, but the standard Screw in type works fine.  Original case is in good condition.

The guitar sits too much ... deserves the right home.  QUESTION:  What's it worth??? Hamer prices vary so much.  But this is a collector's item without a doubt.

'Appreciate your feedback?  MICHAEL

I suppose it could meet that criteria for some but it will have little effect on value as it sounds like a run-of-the-mill Vintage S.

If it's truly in excellent shape you're probably looking at a range of $1400-$1800, depending on how motivated you are to sell.  If you list it here you'll be offered less but could net more than selling on eBay or Reverb, but given your lack of history members may prefer a face to face deal.

Since it's a "fancy" guitar looks can be an important part of determining value. I have seen pictures of some Vintage S's that do nothing for me and some others that seriously make me wish I were right handed.
