analogsystem Posted June 7, 2021 Posted June 7, 2021 I love that St Vincent body shape. If that was the HH model I'd be looking really hard at it. Good luck with the sale!

Good luck with the sale! You know what's odd: I first bought the HH and returned it the next day, as the sound was pretty... ordinary. The Dimarzio mini-humbuckers have way more bite. I really dig this guitar but it's time to turn over the inventory.

I think it may have even been intentional as she is a big user of FX pedals and stuff so perhaps she wanted a blank slate kind of tone? I'm hoping to find the charcoal sparkle HH version with full intension of swapping the pickups for some of my favorite humbuckers. Such is the joy and the bane of GAS
devrock Posted June 8, 2021 Posted June 8, 2021 Is the Vincent NOT made in the US?? Or did EBMM simply change the wording on the back of the headstock? Sounds sort of like “Assembled in the US using foreign parts and labor.”

But all the EBMMs are made in California. The Sterlings are offshore.
polara Posted June 9, 2021 Author Posted June 9, 2021 Missus Polara said no way am I selling the St. Vincent. It works well with her voice and I used it on every track of the new album we're finishing. Look for something else to go up on this thread soon instead
