Decent price on a Chaparral 5-string, but where is the serial number?

No affiliation.  The seller says that the serial number is #026249, which matches his description of this bass as being from 1990, but can you see the serial number in the photo?

I can clearly see the 0 in the first digit location and can kind of make out the 2 in the second digit location.   The serial number he gave you is probably legit for a 1990.  I have no idea on the screws, but IMO the cosmetic impact does push the asking price a little on the higher side of being in a decent price range.    A shame on the screws since the rest of the bass looks pretty clean outside a couple finish dings and possibly some minor lacquer checking shown in the other photos.
