stonge Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 i don't see any pins or holes in the axle for the strings so i can't imagine how much more painful that would be to restring than a normal bigsby which requires three hands lol. I can see why Fender gave them an exclusive on that; they're answering a question that nobody was even asking in the first place. I do have to wonder if their first try was stapling a Washburn Wonderbar to a Digitech Whammy pedal... "we need something less eighties..."

I looked all over that page, couldn't find a listed price even for pre-order, all their other pedals are $300 and up so I'd expect it'd probably be around $350-400 or more. The way it looks reminds me of an old-fashioned office paper hole puncher, if the pedal dies I wonder if you can convert it to do that?
scottcald Posted July 3, 2021 Author Posted July 3, 2021 Yeah, I thought it was a no one asking for it thing. I'm sure the YouTubers will rave how much we all need it for three weeks and then we'll never see them use it again. "You can have a Bigsby on any guitar!"
Jakeboy Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 I freaking love it! What a throwback idea! Like a wah it retains some analog, mechanical movement to make the sound. Will I get one? Hell no. I wail on my Bigsby on the Newport vainly trying to make it like a Strat vibrato bar. I can’t even make a wah sound like everyone else. When I wah it sounds very original…even when I don’t want it too…so I can only imagine how frustrated I would be with this thing. That said, if all I had was one hard tail guitar I’d be all over it…if it isn’t crazy expensive.
